Job Description:

e-GEOS, an ASI / Telespazio company, is one of the main

international players in the field of Earth observation and geospatial information.

We are looking for a Program manager in order to perform the activities necessary to support the project/program management during the entire project life cycle and to support the Program Unit in the preparation of new offers to invitation to tenders identified by the Program Unit manager for the business development.

In particular, the resource shall develop the integrated planning of project activities and resource allocation according to the Program Unit manager decisions, respecting available budget and contractual timeline. In details:

  • Manage the project management activities of both small and large national and international projects in the field of Earth Observation services.
  • Monitor the project/program schedule, ensuring plan consistency and provide reporting on the correct allocation of resources.
  • Evaluation and periodic reporting of the KPIs applicable to Project / Contract Management.
  • Monitor the physical progress of project milestones and provide reporting on workloads, budget and resource accounting.
  • Assure delivery coordination interacting with the technical teams.
  • Report promptly project outcomes and/or risks to the Program Unit manager and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Interact with partners to ensure coordination of tenders and project activities.
  • Monitor the project risks assessment and provide reporting.
  • Preparation of Minutes of Meeting
  • Prepare the technical proposals for the tenders;
  • Prepare and deliver all reports on time

Titolo di studio:

Degree in STEM discipline (with project management experience)

Livello di esperienza richiesto (junior, expert, senior, master)

5+ years

Competenze tecniche:

  • Project Planning, Monitoring & Control.
  • Contract Management techniques.
  • Contracts analysis and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing publications, technical reports, and technical offers for participation in tenders.
  • Experience in communicating and coordinating effectively with a variety of stakeholders and partners.
  • Experience in EO systems, EO supply chain with particular focus on downstream and Geospatial Information Technology is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility and agility in thought and daily working practices to accommodate customer direction and UO business needs.
  • Strong ability to withstand heavy work responsibilities due to project deadlines.

Conoscenze linguistiche:

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of a second language is welcome.

Conoscenze Informatiche:

  • MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Standard VTC tools (e.g. Teams, Webex, etc.)

Altro (es. Disponibilità a trasferte/Certificazioni specifiche richieste...):

  • Availability to travel outside Europe during the execution of the projects, when needed.
  • PMP, PM2, ITIL or similar certifications welcome.
