Title: Manufacturing Product Lead

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $105,000 - $175,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Position Purpose: The Manufacturing Product Lead is responsible for ensuring the alignment of people, parts, and processes needed to execute on time delivery of Spacecraft Components.  


Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the production of high-mix, mid-volume Spacecraft Components, ensuring the alignment of people, parts, and processes.  
  • Develop, monitor, and execute on production throughput goals for each product line based on customer demand and forecasts. 
  • Coordinate needs with Program Management, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet production goals  
  • Monitor material inputs into the factory and work with Supply Chain and Planning to ensure on time delivery  
  • Analyze production data and KPI’s to determine production trends, factory bottlenecks. and implement solutions.  
  • Work with Planning and Master Scheduler to schedule hardware through all factory work centers 
  • Maintain updates of MRP data to include product lead times and standard labor hours 
  • Own rollout of new products and generations into the factory, including generational cutover plans and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • May include management responsibilities


Required Qualifications/Education

  • BS or AAS degree in an Engineering field or equivalent discipline. 
  • 7+ years’ experience in the manufacturing high-mix, mid volume products 
  • In depth knowledge of MRP, ERP, and a Manufacturing Execution Systems  
  • Related technical experience will be considered in lieu of education 


Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.  BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
