Job Description Summary: 

Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, third party warehousing, and property book management. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between logistics and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures. 
 
A highly skilled and seasoned professional with deep expertise in the area of specialization, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities and creative initiative. This role represents the pinnacle of a career-oriented, journey-level position. The incumbent will tackle complex and diverse problems where in-depth analysis and evaluation of multifaceted data are essential. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. 

  

Job Description Project:

We're supporting a well-established customer that works on a critical and high-visibility mission. The team is tremendously talented and we need to add a seasoned logistician to work on a growing number of property and travel-support requirements. Previous experience working on-site to support DIA/DoD and the intelligence community is highly desirable.

Day-to-Day with your Colleagues: 

  • Provide logistics support on a wide range of activities and missions supporting fixed, mobile, and portable systems for border security 

  • Take ownership of projects and tasks, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and driving solutions with minimal direction 

  • Collect, monitor, and track deployed system performance 

  • Support and assist with the resolution of operation and support deficiencies 

  • Support of strategy development to optimize system performance 

  • Develop briefing materials, meeting agendas, minutes, and tracking action item resolution 

  • Interface with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements 

  • Operate with minimal supervision on routine tasks, and receive general guidance on new or complex assignments, demonstrating self-sufficiency and expertise 

  • Apply superior judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, leveraging extensive experience to navigate complex scenarios 

  • Manage/update equipment and accounting database 

  • Support CONUS/OCONUS deployment planning and manning  

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must have active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI Polygraph. 10 years of professional experience working in logistics 

  • Demonstrated experience in creating logistic support plans, shipping load-outs on commercial or military systems, and conducting site survey and reporting  

  • Experience in property management within DoD and U.S. Government regulations  

  • Experience in personnel manning level requirements and planning for CONUS or OCONUS deployments  

  • DAWIA Level II or equivalent in the life cycle logistics functional area or 6 years in military service as a logistics specialist  

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Degree in a technical discipline.  

  • Experience working on-site at a government customer location.  

  • Experience working in DOD/IC.  

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$81,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually.
