Job Overview & Responsibilities

Create and/or revise engineering models of various structural/mechanical components and assemblies in support of launch vehicle production.
Perform lower-level trade studies to optimize designs for manufacturing, producibility, and performance.
Support identification of causes of problems and make engineering corrective actions where needed.
Develops design improvements that reduce cost and risk and/or improves performance and/or reliability.
Support production issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications

Some CAD design skills.
Strong self-initiative.
Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Network well with others.
Able to identify barriers and can apply problem solving skills.
Able to multi-task various projects and tasks simultaneously.
