As a Project Engineer Sr, supporting all of THAAD Post Production Missile field activities, you will be responsible for planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable weapons, materiel, or information systems product support strategies. As a Project Engineer Sr you will:

•Lead a team of engineers in the coordination, planning, and execution of field surveillance testing, software upgrades and modifications.
•Lead reach-back meetings with customers, program management and engineering support from tactical sites or depots to ensure problem is understood and to lead discussion that determines a path forward towards validating an issue or resolution.
• Will support sustainment activities and perform critical spares analysis to sustain current and future USG and FMS Missile Rounds.
•Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
•Serve as a technical lead in regard to all post-production missile field activities and field manuals
•Lead small to medium projects with teams of engineers and field support personnel to perform maintenance and sustainment activities to ensure highest level of readiness of each fielded asset.
•Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders

Basic Qualifications:
•Demonstrated Project Management skills and able to organize and manage short to long term projects

•Proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to express professional opinions to influence critical decisions

•Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence and act as change agent.
•Ability to take complex issues and effectively communicate them appropriately to management and customers

•Strong social skills, with the ability to work with multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and customers

•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Security+ certification or the ability to earn within 3 months of hire date

•Active Security Clearance.

•Requires a minimum of 30% Travel

•Must be a current member of the THAAD Post Production Missile Team
Desired Skills:
•Experienced in sustainment of Army Missile Systems (e.g. Field Operations / Reliability Testing / Depot Maintenance)
•Previous experience with USG agencies, specifically TPO, CCDC, and DCMA.

•Established successful relationships with the THAAD Interceptor Sustainment customers (THL / THQ / THR)

•Ability to coordinate, plan, and execute field surveillance testing, hardware and software upgrades and general maintenance on THAAD Missile Rounds.

•Previous technical expertise related to the THAAD Missile Round

•High level knowledge of the Missile Stockpile Test Set (MSTS) and how it interfaces with THAAD Interceptors
•Previous experience with surveillance field testing on THAAD Missile Rounds at depots and/or deployed sites.
•Understanding/exposure to process and battle rhythms with THAAD Field Depots and current/previous Deployed locations

•Positive demeanor, accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment

•Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
