Accounts Payable Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Code invoices and ensure proper approval prior to entering in Costpoint.
• Ensure proper W9 documentation is received prior to vendor payment.
• Enter approved invoices in Costpoint in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update vendor records in Costpoint.
• Review and approve employee travel expense reports in Concur.
• Process manual checks for direct debits from bank account.
• Create voucher packets in Adobe for audit.
• Other duties as requested and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate; college degree a plus
• US Citizen
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a professional corporate environment in an accounts payable department.
• Experience in supporting government contracting and a publicly traded company a plus.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Deltek Costpoint experience and proficiency in Excel required.
• Must be detail-oriented with superior follow-through skills and have a strong ability to multi-task, organize priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a desire to learn and for success of the team.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$19.39 - $32.31 hourly.
