About the Role 

The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, providing actionable insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role supports internal customers across the organization, including customer engagement, operations, finance, and engineering. A successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, data models, and data visualization tools. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as providing actionable insights to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate findings clearly.   

Role Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Provide data-driven recommendations to support business strategies and decisions. 
  • Analytics Engineering: Create efficient and scalable data pipelines from raw source data to cleaned, usable dimensional model for business users. 
  • Data Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders. 
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reporting deliverables. 
  • Data Quality: Ensure data integrity and consistency. Develop and implement processes for data validation and cleaning. 
  • Documentation: Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to support transparency and knowledge sharing within the team. 

Qualifications 

  • Experience: 3+ years in data science or a related field. 
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in BI visualization tools with a preference for Tableau
    • Proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL querying.
    • Proficiency in DBT
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Accessing and querying data through APIs
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
    • Experience querying data from ERP/CRM (Salesforce and NetSuite preferred)
    • Proven ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Excellent communication, writing, and cross-team collaboration skills 
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL and data manipulation. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. 

Compensation 

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $86,700.00 - $114,910.00.  The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.  Benefits listed in this posting may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Capella Space.
