EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Programmer/Analyst (ETL Processes)

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Gaithersburg, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks to transition data from on-premises systems to Google Cloud using the Informatica Cloud platform.
• Devise and implement a data migration strategy using NiFi and Python to optimize data warehousing capabilities on Google Cloud. Create Python-based desktop software tools to automate the report generation process. Refine and automate the procedure for creating Tableau dashboards and reports with SQL.

Basic Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field plus 1 year experience in ETL processes.
• Experience must also include 1 year in each of the following: Informatica Cloud; Google Cloud; NiFi; Python; SQL; Tableau; data migration; time series forecasting; data science; statistical data analysis; applied regression analysis; natural language processing; machine learning; data mining; Artificial Intelligence (AI); data visualization; Power BI; probability; statistical theory; data modeling; data engineering; processing automation; data pipelines; Pandas; and Power Query.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
