Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Property Asset Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be supporting the SDS Division at our facility located in Roy, UT.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensures asset management compliance with property system procedures and processes based on government requirements and regulations (e.g., FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS 245.6, 252.245-7003 and other applicable FAR, DFARS, DoD regulations) and company policies and procedures
  • Works with management teams within the business unit and sector to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues 
  • Assists with inventories, reconciliation, utilization reviews, identification, contract transfers, segregation, and disposal of excess property
  • Provides training and guidance to internal customers to ensure government property compliance is maintained
  • Conduct property surveillance reviews at supplier/subcontractor sites
  • Assist in Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA) reviews
  • Collaborate with Buyers, Subcontract Administrators, and property custodians to ensure accountability of assets is maintained
  • Assist suppliers/subcontractors in the property management life cycle recovery plans, as needed
  • Assist other team members, as necessary
  • Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • Provide various material and tagged asset reports
  • High level of interaction with both internal and external customers

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 10 years of related experience; 8 years with a Master’s degree; or 14 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 3 years of asset/property management experience
  • US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
  • Experience contributing to the development of new property/asset management concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Experience with industry leading best practices, techniques, and standards as they pertain to property and assets management

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to interpret and formulate independent judgment based on federal acquisition regulations, FAR 52.245-1 and applicable DFARS
  • Experience with SAP systems
  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certifications (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM)
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and specifically with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $86,300.00 - $129,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
