Your Mission

You will participate, analyse, assist and contribute to the daily work of Production Engineering. Building a rocket, we have the following key production processes: additive manufacturing, CNC turning and milling, assembly processes, carbon fibre composites, electronics manufacturing, and welding. Some of the processes are fully automated. Our machine park includes only the most advanced and latest machinery and equipment.

More specifically, you will have the opportunity to

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and optimizing production processes (e.g. work preparation, manufacturing readiness)
  • Analyse and improve existing production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs (e.g. lean management, work instructions)
  • Participate in the development and introduction of new manufacturing technologies (e.g. metal sheet, automatization)
  • Conduct tests and quality assurance measures on production equipment (e.g. assembly, integration, and testing)
  • Support the engineering team in creating technical documentation and reports (e.g. PLM, Non-Conformity)
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational safety and efficiency

Who you are and what you have

  • Enrolled Student in an engineering discipline, aerospace is a plus
  • Initial practical experience in manufacturing
  • Practical experience with CAD Software (e.g. SolidWorks, NX or similar)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Highly organised and proactive with high attention to detail
  • Can-do attitude and communication skills fluent in English, German is a Plus

Nice to Have

  • Programming skills (e.g. VBA, PLC, Phython)
  • Knowledge in Power BI, Jira (Atlassian)
