Your Mission

As the Electrical Engineer, you will help us building all kinds of different test-benches and test-sites but also our launchpad in Andoya for our launcher "Spectrum". Besides planning the systems with our ECAD program “WSCAD”, your tasks include carrying out the build-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, implementing upgrades and more. Some hands-on work will be part of your daily business as well. You will have close exchange with our engineering departments across all our different testing and launch sites.

More specifically, you will:

  • Plan electric systems for various in-house test benches (24VDC & 230/400VAC)
  • Create circuit diagrams for control cabinets
  • Wire different kinds of sensors and actors
  • Construct and wire control cabinets
  • Install control cabinets and other electrical systems and carry out all necessary measurements
  • Troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Carry-out standardized functional testing of control cabinets and preparation of measurement protocols

Who you are and what you have

  • Completed apprenticeship as electrician, and a further education "Techniker", "Meister" or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in planning and working with electrical systems (24V/230V)
  • Good general knowledge of electrical systems (24VDC & 230/400VAC)
  • Experience with ECAD programs (preferably WSCAD)
  • Experienced with applicable electrics standards and norms (VDE/EN)
  • You have a high reliability and sense of responsibility.
  • You are a teamplayer with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have:

  • You have experience with ATEX-compliant systems
  • You have experience with Beckhoff PLCs
