About arcsec
Arcsec is a spinoff company of the KU Leuven university and develops attitude determination and control systems for small satellites. Arcsec delivers its components to companies and universities around the world and is involved in several research projects with the European Space Agency.
The company is based in the center of Leuven (Belgium).
Role
As Assembly, Integration and Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for the assembly of arcsec’s systems, such as star trackers, reaction wheels and full attitude determination and control systems. You will create test procedures and test setups and will carry out and report on functional and environmental test campaigns.
Tasks
Manage the procurement of subcomponents
Assemble arcsec’s systems
Create new test procedures and test setups
Carry out functional and environmental test campaigns
Write test reports and present results
Required skills
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Preferably electrical or mechanical Engineering)
Experience with CAD software
Fluent in written and spoken English
Good reporting skills
Desired skills
Experience with setting up and carrying out test campaigns
Experience with Space mission AIV
Experience with structural and/or thermal analysis
Experience with technical software: Solid Edge
Programming Experience (Python)
Knowledge of ESA standards (ECSS)
