As a Senior AOCS Engineer  you will  take the lead in the engineering and development of the attitude and orbit control system (AOCS)  a variety of satellite based projects ranging from

Earth Observation | Astronomy | Cryptographic Applications | In-orbit servicing |Interplanetary Missions | Technology & Demonstration 

• We seek a strong background in systems and control to work in our Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) for various missions.
• All of our projects involve a wide range of expertise and require a broad range & flexible skillset for all those working at Redwire Space NV.
• You will work in small multi-disciplinary teams and will be expected to perform and document analyses, design, verification and validation within the area of AOCS throughout the complete development lifecycle of the AOCS subsystems.
• A large part of the work is performed using model-based design techniques based on Matlab/Simulink tools.
• An integral part of the work is also documentation and presentation of results to the satellite projects and customers.

The Senior AOCS Engineer is expected to: 

1. Participate in project work by development, test and reporting within AOCS \ specific technical problems
2. Complete project deliverables in time and budget in accordance with the required quality Provide clear and coherent reporting
3. Actively contribute with continual improvement to engineering processes and best practices
4. Develop own solutions to technical problems
5. Take responsibility for interfaces towards customers and subcontractors
6. Plan and lead development within AOCS related work
7. Follow-up with technical advice and report progress to team members

What we want from you………

• University degree (MSc, PhD or equivalent)
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong demonstrated skillset in AOCS design
• Demonstrated knowledge in Matlab/Simulink
• Experience in building complex simulations and models 
• Knowledge in model-based design and automatic coding
• Ability to work in a precise way on multiple tasks and against tight deadlines
