IT Services Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Anticipates IT related issues and implements proactive preventive measures
• Develop, sustain and update documentation for Information Technology processes and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining inventory and organization of different types of software and hardware resources
• Develop and maintain an inventory of all IT assets including history of hardware failure, repair, installation and removal
• Prepare, coordinate and support user training and documentation and provide technical assistance for post-implementation support issues
•  Conduct special assignments and projects as needed 
•  Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/or Equivalent 
• 1-3 years of IT experience providing technical support 
• Experience with Linux systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian)
• Excellent MS Office Suite skills 
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Intune 
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed 
• Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with AWS services
• Experience with Powershell
• Experience with Bash/Python
• Experience with Jira and Jira Service Management
• Previous experience in a technical support role 
• Familiarity with remote support tools 
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.)
