If you answered yes to the question, we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Spacecraft Controller. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our Spacecraft Operations Teams in Darmstadt and contribute different and exiting missions. 
 
Security:
In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

What you´ll do

  • Complete the training program to achieve certification
  • Prepare and validate flight operations procedures and products
  • Participate in the testing and validation of the flight operations segment
  • Monitor and control the operations progress for multiple satellite missions, in accordance with the scheduled operations timeline
  • Execute some specific operations, as defined in the operations timeline and in accordance with the established procedures
  • Upon detection of an anomaly, take the corrective action as necessary, according to the approved contingency procedures, and support the responsible expert for further investigation
  • Produce and evaluate graphs and plots for off-line analysis
  • Support the satellite operations engineers in their operations preparation and execution tasks
  • Create operations reports summarizing all shift activities and events

What we are looking for

  • A degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications engineering or in a similar subject
  • Interest in real-time operations (satellite and ground segment)
  • Commitment and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
