Redwire Space's Corporate team is looking to hire a VP, Security Operations and Oversight to manage our Security team and function.  We strive for operational excellence in everything we do at Redwire.  The successful candidate will ensure our Security is appropriate across the business, mitigate risk, and maintain access levels of our cleared work and individuals along with other important work.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain compliance with NISP, SAP, SCI, and other security requirements applicable to our operations.
  • Integrates security into the business’s operations and product development, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  •  Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies, ensuring adherence to security protocols and clearances for employees.
  •  Develop, deploy, and enforce program/project best practices, tools, and techniques, as well as ensure alignment with global and regional strategy and goals.
  • Collaborates with legal and regulatory affairs teams to interpret and implement security-related laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  •  Responsible for active people leadership, coaching, mentoring, and providing real-time feedback on performance of team members.
  •  Lead the security clearance process, including adjudication and maintenance of clearances for personnel.
  • Oversee the development and execution of security education and awareness programs.
  • Develop and oversees execution of security incident responses and investigations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, as necessary.
 
Ideal Experience:
 
  • TS/SCI required to start
  • Experience required: 20 years of experience + Bachelors degree or 15 years + Master's degree in relevant major
  • Excellent organizational security management of non-geo-collocated classified personnel, facilities, and programs 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to advocate and present to the executive leadership team on security organization status, needs, and pathways.
  • Ability to identify, create, and implement security policies and processes across enterprise
