LMDS has an opening for a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist or Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •    Work with the GSC Material Program Manager (MPM) responsible for ASM/ASP OU to help manage material for Colorado direct and indirect programs and facilities.
  • Responsible for Purchase Requisition input for AMS/ASP direct and indirect material requirements in 1ERP/S4H.
  • Participate in the AMS OU indirect/capex material meetings.
  • Update and manage the PR/PO Tracker for all indirect/capex procurements for AMS OU.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Procurement on any facilities material to help track material, work invoices, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Attend weekly tag ups with AMS OU personnel and MDS BU Buyers to walk through the PR/PO Tracker, discuss issues, and expedites.
  • Understand all material purchasing requirements.
  • Participate in regular tag ups with MDS BU GSC Procurement Manager and AMS/ASP OU Subcontracts Manager as needed.
  • Understand the CAPEX material and infrastructure requirements.

This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist or a higher grade based on qualifications listed below,. Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, will consider 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree or 4 year of relevant experience with Master’s
  • Understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
  • The ability to collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams
  • Must have a general knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, work successfully in a fast- paced environment and apply sound judgment to problem solving
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with International Procurements under US Govt. prime contracts
  • Prior experience working issues related to Import / Export of materials and technology
  • Familiar with SAP procurement systems

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off

Salary Range: $80,600.00 - $149,900.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
