Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Propulsion Test Facility at United Launch Alliance’s Pueblo, CO location is seeking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to the team. Responsibilities include:

Perform CNC programming, requirement verification, and manufacturing reviews for new test and flight hardware designs to be produced by machining, assembly, and pneumatic/cryogenic testing operations.
Provide industrial engineering, tooling design, manufacturing plan revision, and anomaly resolution for 2+ dozen propulsion devices currently manufactured on-site.
Own manufacturing planning and MBOM creation used for acceptance testing, assembly, machining, and additively manufactured parts.

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from and accredited college or university.
Deep understating of CAM programming and troubleshooting.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and management tools, quality management methods and systems.
Experience with CAD and drawing creation, GD&T interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity ESPRIT or NX CAM.
Familiarity with Siemens TeamCenter.
Familiarity with pneumatic or cryogenic systems.
Familiarity with high-nickel alloys.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Pueblo only): $76,409.00 - $119,433.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.

Additionally, most salaried ULA team members work a "9/80 schedule," meaning they enjoy every other Friday off.
