Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Propulsion Test Facility at United Launch Alliance’s Pueblo, CO location is seeking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform CNC programming, requirement verification, and manufacturing reviews for new test and flight hardware designs to be produced by machining, assembly, and pneumatic/cryogenic testing operations.
  • Provide industrial engineering, tooling design, manufacturing plan revision, and anomaly resolution for 2+ dozen propulsion devices currently manufactured on-site.
  • Own manufacturing planning and MBOM creation used for acceptance testing, assembly, machining, and additively manufactured parts.

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from and accredited college or university.
  • Deep understating of CAM programming and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and management tools, quality management methods and systems.
  • Experience with CAD and drawing creation, GD&T interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity ESPRIT or NX CAM.
  • Familiarity with Siemens TeamCenter.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic or cryogenic systems.
  • Familiarity with high-nickel alloys.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Pueblo only): $76,409.00 - $119,433.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
