Summary
A critical role across Redwire, you would be responsible for Mission Assurance leadership across the enterprise ensuring successful execution consistent with the operating standards and best practices, compliance, statement of work, technical specification, contract deliverables and customer satisfaction.
This successful candidate will work on-site but can be in our facilities in the following locations: Jacksonville FL, Marlborough MA, Albuquerque NM, Littleton CO, Longmont CO, Goleta CA, Greenville IN. There will be up to 25% travel to the other locations.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a Corporate lead Mission Assurance organization with a unified approach across a globally diverse space manufacturing business consisting of 7 product lines with execution teams at >10 facilities.
- Champion the deployment of proactive Mission Assurance processes focused on delivery of continuously improving value and compliance to customer’s requirements while meeting business objectives.
- Develop Mission Assurance Quality Maturity model to assess operating units and move them in unison towards optimization.
- Establish measurements and annual goals for continuous improvement and reduction of cost of poor quality.
- Establish robust root cause corrective action protocols to accelerate institutional learning and proactive Mission Assurance processes.
- Represent Redwire in front of customers and partners to demonstrate commitment to Mission Assurance and when required, corrective actions.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Mission Assurance program for the company to meet the directives of regulatory agencies and standards such as ISO, AS9100, etc.
- Create and evangelize best practices across the organization and all product offering groups.
- Monitor the regulatory compliance of the company with respect to current regulations, any inspection findings, and adherence to the Company's MA program.
- Advises executive management and responsible head of the company's compliance status and system-wide implications of any findings.
- Identify systematic problems and coordinate corrective actions, systems or process changes that will resolve problems and improve operations – communicate it across the organization.
- Institute Mission Assurance processes for the company through technical training and education programs and materials.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
Ideal Experience:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar with a minimum of 18 years of experience in a similar role in a similar industry
- Experience in the space industry
- Experience Implementing or administrating the Aerospace Mission Assurance Framework
- Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience as a Leader implementing processes, standards, compliance monitoring, metrics, etc.
- Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100
- Experience in integrating new businesses with existing AS9100 certifications
- Experience in ERP integration into quality systems, Deltek a plus
- Mission Assurance Management Systems experience
- Successful prior experience with root cause analysis, solutioning
- Strong ability to train, educate, influence, and communicate to align all participants in the process.
