Thermal, Thermal-Hydraulic & CFD Analysis Engineer

Weare looking for a Thermal, Thermal-Hydraulic, Hydraulic & CFD Analysis for Thermal Control System & Environmental Control & Life Support.

Key duties:

• Build-up System, S/S and Equipment thermal, thermo-hydraulic and hydraulic modeling (TMM, THMM and HMM) and performance of analyses, including uncertainty and sensitivity, test predictions and models correlations.
• Performs CFD modeling and analysis.
• Ensures the configuration control of mathematical models and analyses results.
• Exchange information with people in charge of design activities for ATCS, PTCS, and ECLSS capturing the design needs and understanding the implications of the analysis results on the design itself.
• Provides analysis inputs to other disciplines for thermal, fluid, thermo-elastic, environmental and control aspects.
• Review Subsystem and Equipment TMM, THMM and HMM as well as thermal, thermal-hydraulic and hydraulic analyses as prepared by Subcontractors / Suppliers, providing comments when necessary.

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

At least Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent with following experience.

• Deep knowledge of thermo-fluid dynamic fundamentals as well as TCS and ECLSS functions.
• Knowledge of CFD analysis principles.

• Good knowledge of space segment main codes: Esatan-TMS and Thermal Desktop for thermal, thermal-hydraulic and hydraulic analyses.
• Good knowledge of Comsol code
• Good knowledge of Matlab and basics of Pyhton coding.
• Good knowledge of Space Hardware Life Cycle (design, development, manufacturing and verification / qualification / acceptance) processes and applicable standards.
• Good attitude towards teaming and multi-disciplinary approaches.
• Available to work in shifts if requested by the program.
• Good attitude to learn new analysis approaches and tools
• Synthesis and problem solving skill
• Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written).
