Job Description:

e-GEOS is a leading international player in the Earth Observation (EO) and Geo-Spatial Information business.

We are looking for a System engineer to join our team with the following responsibilities.
 

Coordinate other project team engineers, following and consolidating the end-to-end design and development cycle of the systems platforms, starting the requirements capture and consolidating requirements as development progresses, trade-off analysis, systems architecture and design definition, definition of the verification, test plan and procedures, witnessing execution of the tests.

Requirement Management: to collaborate with Customer to specify and maintain system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.

System Functionality Definition: to identify and describe the key functionalities of the system, considering requirements and final user needs.

Review and Approval: to conduct periodic reviews of the System to ensure the accuracy and completeness of requirements and obtain formal approval.

System Configuration Management: to manage changes in system requirements and configuration during the development process, ensuring they are evaluated, documented, and implemented appropriately.

Support system testing and integration (in factory or on site).

Document Management: to support the writing of project technical documentation and the development of reports/summaries also in the form of presentations.

Liaise with the Program Manager to contribute with technical planning and management task.

Coordinate with the Procurement team to support in the procurement process
 

Skills

The Company will consider System Engineer that meet the following requirements:
 

Extensive expertise in systems engineering, encompassing requirements engineering, functional analysis, and verification management

Knowledge of Space Systems Architectures.

Knowledge in optical and/or radar payloads and missions

Experience in the definition of systems budgets and trade-off analyses.

Experience in procurement processes.

Experience in requirements management.

Knowledge of MBSE tools and standards.

Basic knowledge of software development and configuration management, e.g. GIT or Bitbucket.

MS office and MS Project

Methodical and practical approach to work

Highly self-driven and capable of working independently

Problem-solving abilities

Effective interpersonal skills

Customer-focused mindset

STEM University degree (Master's/PhD) or equivalent education

Knowledge of ECSS/NASA standards.

Engineering university degree, preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering.
