Northrop Grumman is recruiting for a Director Digital Transformation 1 to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. This position can also be located onsite in Huntsville, AL, Salt Lake City, Utah or Colorado Springs, Colorado.

  • Accelerate LMDS digital ecosystem by identifying digital gaps in business operations, business systems, and processes and developing, identifying, and deploying solutions to close those gaps.
  • Leverage program management experience to drive profitability from digital transformation investment and execution
  • Identify and track “value pull through” and EAC opportunities from DT with business unit DT leads and division functions
  • Leverage program management experience to delegate and manage DT solution deployment across the division
  • Communicate business unit DT solution deployment progress and challenges to the division ELT and sector DTO
  • Communicate DT progress and upcoming solution deployments with division stakeholders
  • Manage the scope, budget, and schedule of enterprise and sector funded DT development and deployment projects across the division
  • Refine and execute the LMDS DT roadmap
  • Ensure alignment of business unit, division, and sector roadmaps
  • Provide the “voice of the customer” to the sector DTO
  • Champion needs and solutions from the division to the sector and enterprise
  • Influence enterprise and sector DT solutions by identifying and communicating digital ecosystem gaps across the division
  • Leadership Training/Mentoring
    • Support development of LX materials
    • Leverage NGSP Digital Transformation POCs to establish a coaches’ network.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience in Program Management, Business Management, Operations, or Engineering–OR- Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
  • Well-developed people leadership skills and at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to effectively lead diverse teams that are geographically dispersed and having direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills and experience presenting project execution information to executive leadership.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading program activities through CDR and System Verification is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with software development, launch vehicle systems, missile systems or space systems with complex mission and flight element requirements. 
  • Master’s degree in a STEM discipline or Business Administration
  • Prior experience with SEAG, DevOps, and Agile communities

Salary Range: $176,200.00 - $264,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
