We have an opening for a Sr. Principal Systems Architect to join our qualified, diverse team. We are seeking a team member who wants to solve interesting, complex problems to help protect our nation. We are a trusted mission payload and ground system provider with extensive experience providing end-to-end mission solutions from concept through operations and support. The team you will support is located at our Aurora, CO campus.

What youโ€™ll get to do?

Designs and develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications. Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer. This position works on a team of approximately 13 SA/SW/SE. Candidate should have familiarity with SA, AWS, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Dev Ops, and Containers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and 9 years of related experience; 7 years with a Masterโ€™s; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Cloud Computing and SA

Salary Range: $127,000.00 - $190,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
