As a Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process. You will provide strategic leadership, vision, and organizational structure to all supply chain related efforts. You help ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness, and compliance while adhering to the highest quality standards.  You drive the development, coordination, and deployment of integrated materials management, procurement, supplier relationship management, demand planning, inventory, logistics, along with continuous improvement activities.  We are looking for an experienced leader who enjoys problem solving and strategic planning and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and industry standards. 
  • Lead the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. 
  • Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of materials and components. 
  • Manage inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities. 
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance and mitigate risks. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement, logistics, and inventory management. 
  • Experience in aerospace supply chain processes, regulations, and industry best practices. 
  • Experience with supply chain technologies and tools, such as ERP systems, MRP software, and data analytics platforms. 

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's Degree is Supply Chain, Business, or related 
  • Professional or Supply Chain Certification: CPM, CPSM, PMP, or similar 
  • Experience in Lifecycle Management (LCM) 
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. 
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
