The Supply Chain AOG Manager (Level K) position is for a first line leader within Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain that will lead a diverse team responsible for Airplane On Ground (AOG) for emergent spare part orders on aircrafts. This team provides support 24x7x365 via multiple channels (phone, online chat, email and support requests). This position is for first shift, but may require managing employees across all shifts, so flexibility is important.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Seattle, WA or Dallas, TX
Position Responsibilities:
Possess knowledge and experience with the Supply Chain value stream, processes, and model / display the capability to lead in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Develop and execute projects and process plans, establish and execute a training plan for new employees, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
Acquiring and integrating resources for projects and processes to provide technical support of process improvements and alignment, as well as oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Provide strong opportunities to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports in support of one Supply Chain value stream.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Boeing Operation functions (Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Management)
Experience developing and deploying a training program for new hires and continued training opportunities for existing team members
Experience addressing both customer, internal, and employee escalations
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Embrace a continuous improvement approach to managing processes
Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Experience working in SAP and CRM systems
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience leading a cross-functional team
Customer service experience
