What You'll Do:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Product Manager to drive the development and execution of our Space Services product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the space industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving product innovation and growth. Reporting to the GM of Space Services, this role will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, identifying market opportunities, and shaping the overall strategy for Spire's Space Services division. You will collaborate with the business development, sales engineering, marketing, and program management teams to deliver customer-driven use-case products that consistently exceed expectations.
- Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for Spire's Space Services division, aligning with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the space industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to define product requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Drive product innovation and differentiation by leveraging Spire's unique capabilities in satellite technology and data analytics.
- Develop customer use-cases and go-to-market strategies for new product offerings, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Create relevant value proposition for Spire Space Services products.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track product performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize product offerings.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and insights that inform product strategy.
- Represent Spire Space Services at industry conferences and events, as well as participate in customer meetings as necessary.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, strategy consulting, or a related role, with a focus on the space industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative products in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of space-based technologies, satellite systems, and the broader space ecosystem.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, with a passion for driving positive change through technology and innovation.
- Experience working in a global environment and working with stakeholders in diverse geographies.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in our Glasgow, UK office.
Access to US export controlled software and/or technology may be required.
Final base salary for this role will be based on the location, skills, experience and qualifications.
