Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Booster Mechanical Design Team is hiring a Design Engineer that will support recurring engineering in hardware ownership and production support.

Join the Booster Mechanical team to make design changes and process non-conforming hardware.
Support of Mechanical Structures sub-system and component designs, related testing and production support.
Ensure all designs satisfy overall launch vehicle and sub-system requirements.
Ability to perform system integration and perform system-level trade studies to optimize designs.
Develops design improvements that reduce cost and risk and/or improve performance and/or reliability.
Populate and release Engineering Change Notices.

Required Education

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
Demonstrated design understanding of basic mechanical structures.
Demonstrated written and oral technical communication skills.
Willingness to support production related issue resolution.
Experience with solid modeling.
Experience with TeamCenter.

Preferred Qualifications

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $80,292.00 - $125,404.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
