You will be designing, developing, and testing different space systems and technologies in this role. In order to create new technologies and advance current ones, you will collaborate closely with a group of scientists and engineers. Along with these duties, you will also have to analyse data, carry out research and development, and resolve challenging engineering issues. In addition to having a strong grasp of engineering concepts and procedures, this position calls for a love of technology and space related topics. The ideal applicant will be highly analytical, have experience in aerospace engineering, and be a team player.
Attached to the Head of Technology, the Senior System Engineer will work closely with the development team. Your main responsabilities are:
📌 Be the responsible and the point of contact for all interfaces within the subsystems.
📌 Work closely with a team of engineers and scientists.
📌 Test new systems and technologies.
📌 Define the system architecture and evaluate the reliability of the system.
📌 Redact the corpus of system level documentations, such as user manual, system justifications, system specifications, qualification specifications.
📌 Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
📌 Perform analysis for technical problem solving.
📌 Contribute to the creation and update of the user manual and technical reports
📌 Provide technical support to the Operational team to achieve project goals.
📌 Provide technical input to future spaceware™ developments thanks to the customers’ feedback and exchange with spaceware™ Product team.
📌 Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in space technology.
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
📌Master degree in STEM.
📌Relevant experience in product development and/or system engineering. Experience with in-space assets is a plus.
📌Good communicator.
📌Problem-solving mindset.
