Within the frame of our fast-growing development, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical and Thermal department for our spaceware™ activities on our site of Massy (91).

Within a feature-team of 2 mechanical structural engineers, your main tasks will be:

  • Design and Modeling: Develop and optimize mechanical systems and structures for space applications, including structural components and mechanisms.
  • Analysis and Simulation: Conduct static, thermomechanical, and dynamic analyses (e.g., FEM) to ensure reliability under extreme space conditions, such as high vibration and temperature variations.
  • Testing and Validation: Define, supervise, and analyze mechanical tests (vibration, shock, thermal cycling) to validate the reliability of the modules.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce detailed technical note, including analysis reports, test plans and test analysis.
  • Innovation and R&D: Contribute to research and development initiatives, identifying areas for innovation in materials, processes, and design approaches.
  • Technology Watch: Keep up to date with new technologies and industry advancements.
  • Team Coordination: Oversee a team of analysts, ensuring their technical growth and development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve designs, processes, and team efficiency.


Preferred Experience 💁‍♀️

  • Graduated from an Engineering School, you have betwenn 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
  • Full proficiency in French and English
  • Proficiency in Nastran with significant industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in Simcenter is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical analysis (static, dynamic, and thermomechanical).
  • Strong knowledge of dynamics and the analysis of dynamic testing.
  • Experience in managing vibrational testing is a plus.
  • Skills in Python coding are an asset.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks will be strongly appreciated
