Job Overview & Responsibilities

This position is an engineering opportunity within the ULA Labs and Test Assets group located in Denver, Colorado.

  • As a ULA Data Station (ULADS) electrical engineer, the candidate will be responsible for completing multiple recurring and non-recurring technical tasks and assignments throughout the lab.
  • Typical assignments include software development and troubleshooting, administration and network support, voice communication management, Linux and Windows system administration, hardware installation and repairs, and test equipment operation.
  • These tasks require the engineer to work across multiple teams, from customer integration at the launch sites to supporting internal departments during launch vehicle processing.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be expected to support all operations for Atlas, Delta, ICPS and Vulcan vehicles during off-nominal working hours as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues with standalone embedded systems.
  • Self-motivated team player who is willing to adapt within a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work overtime, including extended shifts and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in telemetry systems.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $75,381.00 - $117,786.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
