Job description
Duties
- Analyzes and directs internal operation for all business functions of ODEO and integration into NASA, MSDβs strategic and business operations efforts.
- Directs the work of others in the analysis and direction of internal operations.
- Coordinates strategic planning with regards to program development.
- Develops and/or assists with program and/or management assessments ensuring programmatic and/or management goals are well documented.
- Provides and coordinates authoritative review and ensures effective and timely completion of a variety of organizational activities and products, including but not limited to, policies, presentations, and reports.
- Provides communications, media, legislative, and operations expertise in support of NASAβs mission in coordination with Mission offices.
- Develops, edits and delivers briefings, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence to managers to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- Performs a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Supporting leadership and direction of others in execution of program management, and business operations;
- Conceiving, planning, and managing entire business functions for broad, emerging, and critical agency management programs.
- Serving as an expert and consultant to top management officials by providing advice on integrating the administrative function with a program and advises other management experts on issues that involve applying methods and procedures developed by the employee.
