Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Space and Missile Systems Integration Manager to support Boeing Global Services in Huntsville, AL.

Develops and integrates support approaches and plans for the execution of the PAC-3 Seeker Depot Sustainment Program with profit and loss responsibility. Establishes program budgets, business and communication plans. Integrates and evaluates support elements to develop program proposals. Develops performance metrics and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules.

Leads planning and integration activities for PAC-3 Seeker Depot Sustainment Program. Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities. Manages employees performing activities related to Program Management. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and integrates support approach and plans for the execution of the Space and Missile Systems Integration Team.
  • Ability to stand-up Depot Sustainment Program with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Establishes program budgets, business and communication plans.
  • Integrates and evaluates support elements to develop program proposals.
  • Develops performance metrics and monitors adherence to program plans and schedules.
  • Leads planning and integration activities for Sustainment Programs.
  • Applies technical knowledge of product engineering support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Security Clearance:

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • Experience with analyzing and interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications.
  • Experience collecting, researching and analyzing source data.
  • Experience working with military technical publications as an author, reviewer, or quality control / quality assurance
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a managerial or team lead role
  • Knowledge of MIL STD LSA database
  • Program Management Institute (PMI) certification

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option. (Huntsville, AL.)
