Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-15 Maintenance Technical Data Designer to support the Learning & Technical Data Solutions at Fort Walton Beach, FL site.
This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Ft. Walton Beach, FL location.
Position Responsibilities
Develops multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment minor system or multiple sub systems.
Collects, researches and analyzes source data and validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions.
Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements.
Supports developing, analyzing collecting, and storing various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation and assists with making recommendations.
Supports providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for a single equipment subsystem.
Assists with identifying and analyzing logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report.
Supports determining spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type.
Participates in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components.
Supports reviewing aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in either, aircraft operations, aircraft maintenance or training related to F-15 Avionics aircraft operations and/or maintenance.
Experience analyzing/researching engineering drawings and familiar with technical publications.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
4+ years’ experience with the F-15 Avionics systems.
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
