Quality Engineer

Job Description 👨‍💻

We are looking for a Quality Engineer at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.

Attached to the Quality Team, your role will be to support Exotrail’s production ramp-up while maintaining our product excellence.

Your activity will address the product assurance process of our electrical propulsion systems for small satellites, with a focus on post-delivery quality activities. 

You will report to the Head of Quality.

Key responsibilities:

📌Manage product acceptance activities in line with Exotrail quality management system;

📌Manage post-delivery quality activities;

📌Drive and improve the resolution of non-conformances ensuring proper identification, handling and resolution of tickets, across development, manufacturing, AIT and supply chain processes;

📌Contribute to:

• Supplier quality management activities with supply chain manager;
• Product and project quality reviews;
• Continuous improvement process;
• Change management process;
• Quality indicators reporting;

📌Support operating Exotrail quality management system;

📌Coaching of employees on production assurance and quality processes.

Preferred Experience 💁‍♀️

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial projects;
• Experience in working as a Quality Engineer, Product Assurance Engineer or in interface with them, e.g. as a Project Manager, Production or Design Engineer;
• Knowledge of quality standards ISO9001/EN9100 and recognized space standards (e.g. ECSS, MIL) is a plus;
• High motivation for constructive and solution-oriented way of working in a team;
• Very good soft and presentation skills (presentations, technical documentation, oral presentation);
• Able to work with a great autonomy;
• Fluent in English;
• Willingness to join the dynamic, vibrant, demanding environment of a start-up.
