We’re on the hunt for a Contracts Administrator on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role:
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the preparation and review of contractual documentation, including amendments and changes, in accordance with corporate guidelines and established approval processes. The Contracts Administrator may be required to provide contractual support to senior contracts/export control staff.
Specific Tasks:
- Ensures contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate guidelines and procedures.
- Prepares and administers correspondence and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal, including prioritizing requests.
- Drafts standard form contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with established contract policies and procedures.
- Oversees all contractual matters associated with pre-assigned programs and subcontracts and seeks guidance from senior staff as required for the drafting and review of non-standard contracts.
- Assists the manager with the preparation of the statement of compliance in accordance to the terms and conditions provided by potential customers.
- Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.
- Conducts legal research activities and other related support as required.
- Communicates contract policies and practices to internal teams.
- Analyses contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies.
- Provides support to Senior Contracts Specialists in working with internal or external project teams on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts.
Work experience requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator, or in a similar function.
- Previous experience with negotiations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
- Is a team player and demonstrates a high level of integrity.
- Strong organizational, analytical and decision making skills.
- Results oriented and exhibits excellent critical thinking.
Education requirements:
University degree in business or law.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
