As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will share in the Material Cost Account Management (MCAM) team’s impact on all aspects of performance to enhance Blue Origin’s bottom-line. This role represents an opportunity to assist in building the material cost account management function to support endless growth for our Blue Origin products.
In this role, you will support the needs of the assigned program(s) as a material analyst. The roles primary responsibility is to manage procurement requests, costs, and technical execution for supply chain content for assigned programs. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to achieve material availability requirements to meet program integration schedules. Foundationally, you will be responsible for establishing relations with the programs to provide procurement support and analysis for all materials.

Position Responsibilities:
Create and execute purchase requisitions (PR) which includes analyzing suppliers, commodities, inventory eligibilities, accounting codes, and deliver date.
Support the processes and methods to gather supply chain data
Provide support and analysis for all assigned materials
Recommend and support supply chain optimization projects
Track KPIs, and report on supply chain’s performance
Contributes to the completion of task-related activities
Interacts primarily with immediate supervisor or other members within the group.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures
Receives detailed instructions and follows directions for routine work with close supervision
Other undefined scope in relation to material planning, analysis, forecasting, and budget
Basic Qualifications (Required Expertise/Knowledge):
1-4 years in Supply Chain and Logistics, and warehouse operations
1-4 years’ experience with Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems
Ability to work both autonomously and as a team in a highly demanding and fast paced environment; capability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of an organization including suppliers, team members, management, and customer
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Earned Value Certification or equivalent
Familiarity and or experience in building Program management tools and processes in the following areas: EVMS, Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, experience integrating project cost, schedule, risk and progress or similar business processes.
Typical Education/Experience:
4+ years directly relatable professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience
