SPACEPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule, track, and follow up on vehicle preventative & corrective maintenance appointments required through the company to ensure high vehicle reliability and performance
- Promote workflow consistency and accuracy while maintaining and reporting transportation KPI, metrics and data
- Coordinate all vehicle requests and inquiries while communicating directly with customers via email, phone call direct messaging and in person
- Coordinate all off-site transportation requests including Tesla rentals, team builders and VIP tours to ensure vehicle and driver availability
- Work with the leadership to ensure efficient driver scheduling and upcoming events that will require added staffing
- Assist with resolution of incorrect data reporting by identifying inaccurate data points
- Update and utilize metrics to drive results as applicable with transportation personnel
- Work with spaceport supervisors and managers to ensure all metric-driven action requirements are completed
- Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables and constraints as required for internal and customer use
- Assist spaceport leadership and project teams with action item updates
- Support management of vehicle certifications and registration
- Support spaceport requisition creation for scheduled contract work
- Support projects or productivity development activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of project experience
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in transportation logistics
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments
- SQL, PBI and Tableau experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand for extended periods - 8+ hours
- Must be available for overtime, all shifts, and weekend work as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required
