As part of our strong growth and in order to contribute to the company's development, you will report to the Technical Department and your main task will be to design, develop and implement the launcher's telemetry system.
As a Telemetry Engineer, you will work closely with all the teams to ensure that the project and associated resources are properly integrated in line with all the technical and operational requirements.
Your expertise will be essential to guarantee an efficient and effective system during the test and flight phases.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

  • Guaranteeing the performance of the system by defining it technically, specifying the components to be supplied and the tests to be carried out,
  • Justifying the design and integration of the system in the launcher and on the ground,
  • Carry out the design studies for the telemetry chain (transmitter, antenna, receiving station) and the link budget,
  • Construct the telemetry frames for all phases of flight,
  • Maintain a technology watch to identify new technologies and trends in the field of telemetry.

Preferred experience and skills

With a degree from an engineering school, ideally specialising in telecommunications, electronics (or a related field), you will have at least 5 years' significant experience in the design, development and implementation of on-board telemetry systems, preferably in an aerospace context. You will have in-depth knowledge of telemetry protocols, radio frequency phenomena and link budgets, as well as practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting telemetry equipment.
You are able to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams. You will be rigorous, autonomous and have excellent organisational skills to ensure that the project is planned, executed and monitored in accordance with technical and operational requirements. You will also have a good knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations to ensure that telemetry systems comply with authorisation, safety and quality requirements.
Knowledge of space-related fields and technologies or initial experience in the launcher/satellite industry is a plus.
Fluency in English is essential.
