On Earth, we are pioneering molecular and bio-farming, boosting production of nutrients, metabolites and bioactive compounds in plants while providing a sustainable and safe source of plant materials. Our customers are large beauty, perfume, natural ingredients, food&beverage and neutraceuticals companies. To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As we are accelerating our growth with current deployment of a first BioPod factory and industrialization of products, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic supply chain team in Paris. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, from receipt and quality control to warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. You will also collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts meeting our specifications and standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and implementation of materials management procedures, including receipt processes, quality control checks, warehousing, and inventory management, and materials distribution.
  • Track shipments and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all materials management activities.
  • Participate in inventory management initiatives to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve on-time delivery of materials, including developing metrics, identifying root causes of delays, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify supply chain inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest supply chain trends and technologies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a science discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or others) and proficiency in coding languages like VBA or SQL is a plus.
