As an Associate Program Planner/Scheduler, you will work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with the business leaders and delivering real-time solutions to our clients. You will interface with program management, finance, internal/external customers, functional leads, engineering, operations and control account managers (CAMs) to drive program execution.

This role will give you exposure within the aerospace industry and promote career growth within the field. In this role you will experience working on programs that involve high precision optics and electronics used in space as well as ground-based threat detection warning systems. A passion for organization, close attention to detail, and an analytical mindset are some of the most important skills needed in this role.  To succeed as an associate planning/scheduler analyst, you will use your interpersonal skills to collaborate in a team environment, communicate effectively and manage deadline driven tasks. 

 

Specific Requirements:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the development and maintenance of the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) deliverables in accordance with the Data Item Description (DID) / Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Review and status material in support of the IMS
  • Maintain schedule integrity in compliance with DCMA requirements
  • Support cost/schedule, Baseline and Change Control Management
  • Understanding of WBS hierarchies and relationship with cost/schedule
  • Obtain and communicate program status, risks, and opportunities with key stake holders

 

Education Requirements: 

  • 1-4 years planning/scheduling experience with BA/BS degree and/or equivalent

 

Experience Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications
  • Understanding of the principles, theories and concepts of scheduling 
  • Ability to create Summary Schedules. Milestones Professional preferred
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management, a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills, as well as strategic thinking skills
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task
