Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) for our Danbury, CT manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Facility Security Officer (FSO), the CPSO will provide classified program support on a multitude of levels. Working in unison with the Program Security Team, you will be responsible for the security of classified programs that support DMT throughout the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Department of Defense Special Access Programs (DoD SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) arenas.  An active security clearance is required (TS is preferred).

Specific Requirements:

In this position, you will be responsible to:

  • Implement and ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
  • Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, and Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Create, update and administer security education, training and awareness to include program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  • Conduct self-inspections and recommend / implement corrective actions.
  • Create, update and administer security education, training and awareness to include program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  • Conduct program administrative work such personnel processing, visitor control, program related investigations, TS Accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material and resolving other related program security issues.
  • Manage special access program facility administration in accordance with DODM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs; submit pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and TEMPEST assessments.

Travel Requirements: 5-10%

Education Requirements: 

BA/BS Degree in relevant field such as Business, Management, Homeland Security is preferred

Clearance Requirements

An active U.S. Security Clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred.

Experience Required:

  • 3 + years relevant professional experience
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision with the ability to multitask
  • Database management (preferably with DISS, Scattered Castles, and JADE)
  • Attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees and customers
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all access as required by the programs.

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time.
