We are looking for a Production Helper within our Electronic Manufacturing team at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office.

Role:

  • Performs various simple technical tasks and activities related to production or traceability. In addition, may have to perform the duties of the general help position.

Level of responsibility:

  • Well-established work processes and tasks. Some analysis is required before independently choosing from known processes.

Tasks:

  • Receive the goods, help with the inspection at the basic arrival (opening the boxes, counting the steps ...) and update the database.
  • Assist with production operations (e.g. sandblasting, component preparation, organization of production cells).
  • Build adequate packaging for ground and theft components and provide support when packaging products.
  • Cut out panels, honeycomb.
  •  Assist in the cutting and installation of thermal blankets.
  • Make bags and help with the packing of parts.
  • Install helicoils, legs or grounding blankets.
  • Prepare and clean parts (including plating and tinning).
  • Prepare chemicals from polymefics.
  • Validate torques after the assembly step.
  • Assemble (wrap) the base cables around the bodies to produce the helical coils.
  • Use appropriate equipment for transporting equipment (trolley, crane, engineers, giraffe, etc.).
  • Assist personnel involved in research and development.
  • Any other related tasks

Minimum qualifications required:

  • Reading plans.
  • Basic knowledge of the principle of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
  • Ability to retrieve and enter computer data using a menu.
  • Working with production databases.
  • Good knowledge of French.
  • Fine manual dexterity.

Education: DEC, DES or equivalent.

Experience: One (1) to (2) years of relevant experience.

Level of language skills: Basic knowledge of English is an asset.

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level and pass the security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
