Job Description:

MDA Space is looking to fill two summer student positions to support a critical enterprise initiative in the area of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). This role will support MDA Space’s Corporate Business Transformation function within the office of the Chief People, Culture and Transformation Officer. The ideal candidate will work with a team to investigate, analyze and report on various environmental impacts across the business.  

 

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Meeting with business stakeholders to gather input data
  • Manipulating large data sets in Microsoft Excel
  • Executing manual and automated data entry activities in SaaS business tools
  • Preparing and delivering regular reports on progress

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in university; 1st or 2nd year student
  • Available till the end of August 2024
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn new things
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities as required

 

    Comments/Special Considerations:

    Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the enhanced reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

    The compensation range for this position is $20 - $23 hourly. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
