This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to (Dependent upon level):

Serve as oversight in the conduct of static guard posts.
Oversee officer execution of the Visitor Management System Provide support to the final access control within the site
Observe issuance of proper visitor badges including ITAR
Respond to emergency situations (fire/medical/suspicious person/etc.)
Execute security support as dictated by Blue Origin security leadership
Function as liaison with law enforcement and emergency responders
Availability to work any schedule needed, to include nights, overtime, weekends and rotating
Mentor other security members to identify and report suspicious behavior to management
Plan and coordinate domestic flight hardware transportation operations
Support/Lead the execution of plans in support of Blue Origin operations
Execute roving patrols of assigned locations
Ability to de-escalate disputes and/or conflict(s)

Minimum Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Valid US state issued driver’s license
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
History of critical incident handling experience
Documented small unit leadership experience
Plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers (serve as FTO)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to de-escalate disputes and/or conflict(s)
Military deployment and/or counterinsurgency experience
CPR/First Aid certification
Computer based proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Extensive team-oriented experience
Impeccable character/integrity
De-escalation/crisis intervention training
Experience instructing security tactics/operations/procedures
Possess or be eligible for a valid state security officer license

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.
