The Role:

MDA is seeking a Junior Network Analyst to be a part of the growing Networking and Security Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved with MDA IT initiatives, analyze and improve the company-wide network infrastructure and performance, and provide network support for satellite, robotics, and ground systems projects. This position requires an understanding of network infrastructure and hardware, and the ability to troubleshoot networking technologies such as wireless, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, and switches.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, execute and test enhancements to existing networking and security configurations, technologies, and procedures.
  • Implement and document existing IT networking and security technologies.
  • Perform analysis and monitoring of LAN and WAN architectures.
  • Provide operational support of MDA’s networking and security environments.

Job Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field of study.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Network Analyst configuring and maintaining enterprise LAN and WANs, firewalls, wireless, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Good knowledge of networking connectivity, technologies, protocols, and security.
  • Strong work ethic and highly self-motivated.
  • Positive thinker who can work well in a team.
  • Good problem solver with the ability to quickly learn and adapt new networking and security technologies.
  • Ability to create both high and low-level network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems.
  • Operational support tasks outside of business hours may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WAN, LAN, DHCP, DNS, SD-WAN, and firewall architectures.
  • Experience with network monitoring solutions.
  • Experience with configuring and managing public cloud-based networks.
  • Experience with managing Cisco-based LAN and WAN solutions.
  • Experience with managing HPE/Aruba wireless and security solutions.
  • Experience with managing SASE solutions such as Zscaler.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)

Salary:

The compensation range for this position is $41,250 - $75,000 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate
