Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards Analyst will play a key role in the review and analysis of activities related to MDA Total Rewards programs โ including compensation, benefits, retirement plans and other monetary and non-monetary rewards and recognition plans.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Support annual salary review cycles and incentive plan processes
- Conduct analysis of internal equity and external market competitiveness as required and collaborate in making compensation recommendations for new hires and internal promotions.
- Lead all aspects of the survey submission process including understanding survey methodology, job matching, data gathering, data validation, benchmarking, and preparation of data submission files
- Maintain market pricing database for all positions
- Creation and maintenance of job descriptions in accordance with the job architecture
- Participate in the maintenance of the job evaluation process and ensure compliance with Pay Equity requirements in all provinces
- Supports with annual salary forecasting activities for AOP purposes
- Assist in compensation and benefits analysis for various union negotiations
- Audit the HRMS system for accurate compensation and benefits data, monitors and ensures all automatic increases are timely and accurate
- Conducts various benefits related reconciliations and provide required reports and may assist in pension audits
- Manages rewards and recognition program
- Assists in managing the ESPP program
- Participate in enhancing employee awareness of benefits and scheduling ongoing learning sessions through the EAP provider
- Support and collaborate on ad-hoc projects
Work Experience:
- 8 years of related experience
- Knowledge of pension and benefit practices
- Extreme proficiency in Excel including ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, formulas, v-lookup, pivot table etc.
- Knowledge of Shareworks is an asset
- Knowledge of HRIS UKG a plus
- Must be able to manage conflicting priorities, function well under pressure and treat all information with confidentiality.
- Detailed oriented, Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.
- Customer focus, professional, people oriented and effectively interact with all levels of employees
- English (written/spoken required) French would be an asset
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree preferred (HR, Administration, actuarial)
