Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) Data Analytics & Software Metrics Manager 2- 10400 for the DevStar organization.
This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The position is responsible for ensuring that the DevStar director’s vision is translated into operational reality.
The selected candidate will work with leaders of all levels across the program and matrix organization, as well as senior level customers, to manage the execution of deliverables and technical engagement reporting as a member of the DevStar leadership team.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Drive the execution for a team of engineering and data science professionals at numerous locations responsible for defining standardized data requirements, identifying tools and architecture required to collect the data, and designing the data visualization to accurately communicate IFC and Software progress and forecasting.
- Lead the team in developing automated metrics for collection and reporting of progress for the Sentinel Weapon System development including software development & integration progress
- Establish automated metrics dashboards for providing key analytical data into Sentinel Weapon System development & trends
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in support of the organization’s strategic plan
- Lead the team in analyzing performance data and provide forecasts for Estimates at Complete (EAC) and additional forecasting data
- Support the directorate in executive internal and external customer meetings

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 6+ years of related experience in (4+ years with a MS degree, 3+ years with a PhD degree) or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with background investigation in-scope
- 2 years team leadership experience in program integration, operations, or execution
- 1+ years experience defining and/or developing program level metrics
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- A proven track record of developing and implementing strategies for change
- Presentation skills to communicate effectively at all levels of management and to individual contributors
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience in Lean methodologies
- Experience in DevOps methodologies
- Experience in Integrated Functional Capability Process
- Experience in Architecture and/or Model Based Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Prior experience operating in a dynamic environment of increasing pace
