As a Talent Management Solution Specialist, you hold experience and expertise in crafting and owning talent processes (e.g., Performance Management, Internal Mobility & Promotions, Succession Planning, etc.) in an evolving organization. These processes are used by to hold a high bar for performance and drive a feedback rich culture, one that identifies and promotes employees ready for expanded scope and ensures readiness of talent for critical roles. In this role, you will help drive the talent programs partnership with HR Business partners (HRBPs) through program management support, coaching, and teamwork. You will build, implement, and measure the quality of talent programs with the aim of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate can both dial in to details, as well as scope out to the broader talent picture. You will be a partner to HRBPs to support the building of talent reviews, engaging in intentional talent growth plans, and supporting purposeful, intentional movement to identify and develop the talent Blue Origin needs. Likewise, you will identify gaps and areas for improvement in talent processes based on data and insights from implementation within Blue balanced with industry practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant area such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Organization Development or HR Management, and 6+ years of proven results with ownership of talent management programs.
- Successful enterprise-wide program management to include either starting from scratch and/or building on others’ work to improve existing processes.
- Internal partnership experience, with proven record of being able to work effectively partners throughout HR and businesses.
- Deep expertise of HR processes, especially performance management, succession planning, and/or internal mobility and promotions.
- Experience in implementing talent processes end-to-end; measuring impact, assessing critical outcome measures, and incorporating feedback to continuously improve processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities, a process improvement mentality and ability to influence others with data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired
- Prior experience as an internal Talent Management lead for a client group or HR Business Partner.
- Ability to figure things out without a road map, transform organizations, as well as break the mold in terms of ways to re-frame and tackle problems.
- Experience driving talent program development and change with executives, with strong writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning skills – with proven attention to detail.
- Program management experience including scoping, leading, and delivering complex projects. An excellent track record across all phases including implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Employee Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave (must be employed at time of birth or adoption), short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program available after 1 year of service.
Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.
Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
