We’re on the hunt for a Product Assurance Manager on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role :

The position is responsible for ensuring that the program's products and services meet contractual and divisional quality requirements. 

 

Tasks :

  • Ensure the implementation and compliance of the program's product assurance plan, including adherence to specifications, cost and delivery date.
  • Provide risk analysis, project planning, budget and resource requirements.
  • Organize reviews with customers and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with the customer for resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions and all aspects of product assurance.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and contribute to the achievement of program objectives.
  • Perform process and product compliance audits both internally and with subcontractors. Ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Analyze data and performance indicators, identify improvement potential and lead continuous improvement projects
  • Collect lessons learned data and generate improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications required : 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with an interest in complex machined parts manufacturing, electro-mechanical assemblies or PCBs
  • Ability to exercise leadership in his/her discipline. 
  • Good communication skills in French and English.
  • Collaborative and team oriented. Knowledge of geometric sizing and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5), AS 9100 quality standards and aerospace work standards is also a requirement of the position.
  • Computer skills (word processing and electronic calculation applications) are also required.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Auditor background
  • Training in quality engineering and/or continuous improvement (APQP, CQE, Six sigma, etc.)

Comments/Special Considerations :

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
