Key Responsabilities

He/she is the work package manager in the AIT group. In this context, he/she is responsible for the mechanical assembly phase, electrical integration and functional & environmental tests of platforms and satellites.

He/she is responsible for technical performance, quality, deadlines, in accordance with the commitments of Company. His/her deliverable is the fully tested satellite.

He/she is the coordinator of the electrical, mechanical (RM) and quality (QA) teams assigned to his/her project. In this context, he/she supports the teams, both on the technical and programmatic aspects and ensures the interface on his/her perimeter with the PMO, and in some cases directly with the customer.

Main missions :

• Participate in the risk analysis at the System level, and organize that for the AIT sequence
• Write the AIT plan then control its deployment and organize the associated contractual reviews (TRR / TRB)
• Manage xGSE developments (EGSE / test benches and MGSE / mechanical handling equipment, OGSE)
• Control the technical content (development and evolution of procedures), the cycle (planning of tasks with the support of scheduling and departments) and the costs (real-time management of risks and opportunities shared with his hierarchy and his PMO )
• Guarantee the application of the Quality rules and the Technical Reference
• Manage / animate periodic meetings and routines (Obeya / Saily, weekly, Q6 level 2) and participate in Q6 routines (CRC and level 3).
• Ensure reporting to the PMO and its Hierarchical Manager
• Conduct hot and cold feedback

Education

Degree in Engineering

Skills and experience

• Experience in space segment AIT activities (at least at equipment level)
• Experience in space Telecom, Optical Earth Observation or Navigation applications
• Experience in team functional management
• Working knowledge of a systems engineering lifecycle
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies
• Working knowledge of a defect process
• Knowledge of ground support equipment solutions.
• Languages: English, Spanish essential and French a plus.
